38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
This life is challenging. The more we speak the Word, the more we proclaim the Word, the larger the target we carry for the world to aim at. There will be troubles in this world, yet is there anything that causes or shows that His love for us lessens? No, none can take the believer from Him or Him from the believer. (Paraphrased from Matthew Henry Concise Commentary).
His love never dies, it never gives up, and neither should ours. When we die, all our worldly possessions are left behind. All our worldly pain is left behind. We are joined forever with our God to live the ultimate party in joy, peace, and love.
So why stay? He has us here to do a job: to become the men and women He created us to be, to endlessly strive to be more like Him, to serve, to be the light, to shun self-righteousness and religion, to share His word, the gospel, in the world.
So live large for Him, through Him, with Him. Follow His lead fearlessly with no regrets.
