“19 Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 21 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 22 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
The most awesome thing about life is that at the end of the day, what happens to you here on earth doesn’t matter, and what you do here does. Your hearse won’t have a U-Haul, and all the possessions accumulated become equally distributed without any fighting over who gets what, but they don’t go with you.
So what are the treasures that get stored? The fruits of praise and works. Accepting Christ as your savior opens your account and is the ticket in, praise and works are the deposits in your account. The more you do here, the more there is for you there.
What you do here matters.
