Ephesians 4:31 – 5:2
“Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. 5​ 1 Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children 2 and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.”

“Make a clean break with all cutting, backbiting, profane talk.   Be gentle with one another, sensitive. Forgive one another as quickly and thoroughly as God in Christ forgave you.  Wake Up from Your Sleep  5​  Watch what God does, and then you do it, like children who learn proper behavior from their parents.   Mostly what God does is love you. Keep company with him and learn a life of love. Observe how Christ loved us. His love was not cautious but extravagant. He didn’t love in order to get something from us but to give everything of himself to us. Love like that.”

Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling, slander, along with every form of malice, cutting, backbiting, profane talk. Helloooooo world! This is what God is about! Fire and brimstone, legalism, , Westboro Baptist, The “Tolerance” Movement, KKK, Black Lives Matter, purveyors of hate, look at what God says is right! Don’t be haters!

Instead, love. Love extravagantly! Love boldly, not timidly. Love with intentionality, don’t hold back. Love the unloveable, love the haters. Love your family, love your friends, love your strangers.

Love like God loves us. Show real tolerance in action.
