“48-50 Jesus didn’t respond directly, but said, “Who do you think my mother and brothers are?” He then stretched out his hand toward his disciples. ‘Look closely. These are my mother and brothers. Obedience is thicker than blood. The person who obeys my heavenly Father’s will is my brother and sister and mother.’”
Galatians 9:2 (ESV)
“2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”
What is unity? Dictionary.com says it’s:
1. the state of being one; oneness.
2.a whole or totality as combining all its parts into one.
3.the state or fact of being united or combined into one, as of the parts of a whole; unification.
Unity. Look closely. Are you? In unity? With what? Where? Community? Neighbor?
Stranger?
Unity – God calls us to be unified under Him, not under ourselves. How much misery could we eliminate if we heeded Christ’s call, if we joined His family, if we followed Him?
Who’s in Christ’s family? Those who choose to follow The Way. Unified
Unity.
