It’s a big, big, home Matthew 7:12 Romans 13:9-10

Matthew 7:12
“So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.”
Romans 13:9-10
“ 9 The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a neighbor. 10 Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.”

It’s simple. If you love your neighbor as yourself, following the life rules God has given us is easy (well except for the parts about honoring and serving God).

So, what does that look like? Can you/I/we do it? It’s amazing the impact it would have. I’m just curious how we think we can get there without the basic instructions. Love does no harm to a neighbor. NO HARM! Get it? None, nada, zip, zero. We ain’t there yet are we? Why not? I think we’ve known about the how to for awhile. If we’re so freaking great on our own, How come we’re where we’re at today?

Maybe it’s because we have such a hard time with the first part of the commandments.

I think we should think about what our homes look like and where our neighborhood is. If’n we take God’s words, it’s the world beyond your windows that’s your home, and the area beyond your cul-de-sac that’s your neighborhood. I want to have a big, big home in a big, big, big, humongous neighborhood. Live there, love those who live there with you. Follow the Rule the way it’s written. That’s why it was written the way it was written.

Imagine all the people living life in peace, like the kingdom come here to earth. Yes, maybe no religion too, just followers of Christ.
