What do you believe? Psalm 8:3-4 John 11:25-26

Psalm 8:3-4 (NIV)
3 When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, 4 what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?

John 11:25-26 (NIV)
25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

More bold red letter statements by Christ. I am the resurrection and the life. Do you believe this?

If not, what do you believe? What’s your foundation stone that everything is built on? Do you believe? Of course, the answer is yes – we all believe something, we all have a foundation we stand on. Do you believe this? That’s the answer Christ asks us directly.

When I consider your heavens – especially when I can see them through the haze of pollution (air and light) we are amazed, we feel a little small, we wonder how they got there, we wonder what’s out there. Space – the final frontier. All created in a word. Makes it all even more amazing.

Christ is that big – consider the heavens and know they are His creation. Consider us, knowing we are His creation. Consider His life which was lived for our redemption.

Consider how big He’s gone and how small He’ll go – 25 “…The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

What do you believe?
