Revelation 4:11 (NLT)
11 “You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power. For you created all things, and they exist because you created what you pleased.”
Prove it wrong please. Please show me the definitive proof that God isn’t who he says he is. You can’t, any more than I can prove he is who he says he is. I can’t prove it, but I know it to be true. We have his words and the odds of them being like they are are in the trillions to one. Do the least bit of research and you’ll see it to be true as well.
And what is to be gained by denying God? What is to be gained by denying the truth in the bible? What, you don’t need it? OK.
“It would seem that Our Lord finds our desires not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling about with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at the sea. We are far too easily pleased.” ― C.S. Lewis, The Weight of Glory, and Other Addresses
Sorry kids, that’s the part of all things that we fall so short of achieving by living in the world, living without Christ. Knowing what you know now, imagine what it’d be like if you gave up your mud pies and took the holiday by the sea.
Luke 12:23 (NLT)
23 “For life is more than food, and your body more than clothing.”
John,
Come on down to the Sea with us😉
