19 He grants the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cries for help and rescues them.

Baaaaaa. Sheep. White blobs, stupid, timid, weak, defenseless, on a hill. Not a very flattering description of us glorious humans is it? But in the face of powers far greater than us, it’s an apt description. Look at how easily we’re led to unhealthy places – porn, overeating, materialistic, violence, etc. Look at how easily we’re distracted from doing what God calls us to do. Look at how easily we’re led away from our protection and then stand there in defiance or denial of Him.

Look at how easily we believe that our view of Good Enough becomes God’s view of good enough.

Baaaaaa. I’m very happy to be part of the flock, wanting to know the dude who created everything with a word. The God that says Hmmm, I think I’ll create a universe today…. and does. A God who lays out the path and characteristics in simple words we can understand, then sends us the facilitator to help us get there – but only when we use our self will to want it, only when we turn from the unhealthy places we’re so prone to turn to.
