Showing love covers a multitude of sins. A lesson in life from the one who knows what life is all about, who knows the full potential of life that we humans only imagine a glimpse of in our brighter moments. Showing love covers a multitude of sins. Gotta love it. Continue to show deep love for each other.

27 “But to you who are willing to listen, I say, love your enemies! Do good to those who hate you. 28 Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who hurt you. 29 If someone slaps you on one cheek, offer the other cheek also. If someone demands your coat, offer your shirt also. 30 Give to anyone who asks; and when things are taken away from you, don’t try to get them back. 31 Do to others as you would like them to do to you.”

Show love. Show deep love. Show deep love to those strangers who pee in your Wheaties, who kick your Mercedes because you have one and they don’t. Show deep love to fascists and anti-fascists, to Trump and Hillary supporters (still debating on Pelosi supporters – just kidding). You get the idea.

Showing love covers a multitude of sins because it requires a humble submission of pride, a letting down of self-righteousness, an admission that even though we’re not as bad as ______, we’re also not as good as God and we’re a infinitely closer to ________. It requires us to know that life is more than we’re capable of and we can’t begin to really live without the One who knows what life is.

Show deep love to the unlovable. Bless those who curse you. Give like Christ gives for us. Live like Christ lives for us. Love like Christ loves us.
