Soul Guardian 1 Peter 2:22-25

1 Peter 2:22-25 (NLT)
22 He never sinned, nor ever deceived anyone.
23 He did not retaliate when he was insulted, nor threaten revenge when he suffered. He left his case in the hands of God, who always judges fairly.
24 He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed.
25 Once you were like sheep who wandered away. But now you have turned to your Shepherd, the Guardian of your souls.

There’s not much doubt that Christ is a historical figure except for some flat earthers out there who regurgitate worn out atheism under the banner of “new”. Christ being a historical figure means that we ought to consider what He said, and what was said He said, and what was said about Him with more than a casual acknowledgement.

He never sinned nor deceived anyone. I’m not in the same league. How about you? He never deceived anyone. Never. Now, think about the words He shared with us with no deception. He did not retaliate, but left His case in the hands of God who always judges fairly, perfectly. He sacrificed himself so that we could be judged without the stain of our life in our life. By his wounds we are washed clean, we are healed, we stand a chance at eternity in His presence. This is who guards our soul.

Guardian of your soul. Souls are precious, they are who we are, they give our physical body purpose. Christ, perfect in everyway, is our Guardian.

Matthew 11:1 (NLT)
11 When Jesus had finished giving these instructions to his twelve disciples, he went out to teach and preach in towns throughout the region.

Then He went out to teach and preach in towns. Spreading the Good News, spreading the lessons that give life, meaningful life, purposeful life.

Learn the lessons and learn to live, knowing that your Guardian in omnipresent.
