2 Samuel 22:31 (NLT)
31 God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection.
Psalm 62:8 (NLT)
8 O my people, trust in him at all times. Pour out your heart to him, for God is our refuge.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (NLT)
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. 6 Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.
Matthew 5:8 (NLT)
8 God blesses those whose hearts are pure, for they will see God.
1 Corinthians 13:4-5 (NIV)
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
The interesting thing about “all the Lord’s promises prove true” is that it they do prove true.
God is pure love. Patient, kind, honoring, other seeking. He is the creator. He’s our purifier. When inviting Him into our lives, He works on our soul, on our head, on our heart. He does this to purify us, to bring us into alignment with Him, to align us in love.
