Psalm 32:8 (plus a little more)

“8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you.”

I wonder if God isn’t implying “and by the way, the reason you’ll need instruction, counseling and watching over is because life is a test. Oh, yeah, it’s a big test.”

This life is tough for most people (though tough here is nothing like tough in other places). This life is just how it is; but does this life make sense if there

is nothing more than this? Call it wishful thinking if you will, but the beauty of this world is only a glimpse of what is coming to those who seek His protection through Christ.

For me, I chose to believe because it makes sense if you really think about it. It also give hope to someday answering the “why” questions.

“9 Do not be like the horse or mule, which have no understanding but must be controlled by bit and bridle or they will not come to you.” Trust that He knows better than you how to get through life.

“10 Many are the woes of the wicked, but the Lord’s unfailing love surrounds the one who trust in Him.” Live in his counsel and the safety it provides.

Go big in life by following Him!
