Titus 3:4-7

“4 But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.”

Wow. This just blows me away. The kindness and love of our Lord appeared because of his mercy. He saved us by generously pouring out the Holy Spirit on us when we were clueless we needed it. Poured the Holy Spirit on us! Generously! Undeserved, grace poured on us so that we could someday stand in front of God and be assured eternal life, not eternal death.

God did this out of love to a world that was seeking something somewhere, anywhere, creating “god’s” left and right that justified their existence. A broken world. A world full of violence, self, preservation.

But here comes the kindness and love of God. “But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared….” It was new, it appeared with Christ, poured out on us, allowing us to be reborn, renewed in His image. THANK YOU JESUS!

Take off your rain jacket, take off your hard outer covering they world has beaten onto you, and allow the Holy Spirit to soak in, to saturate your soul, mind, heart, body, your entire being.

We can’t “works” our way into heaven. Salvation been given to us freely out of love beyond our comprehension. If that doesn’t put a serious kick in your step, if that doesn’t bring utter joy to your being, what world are you living in? Seriously! Strip naked (well, be careful where you are when you do)and dance in the rain of the Holy Spirit being poured on you!

THANK YOU GOD FOR LOVING ME BEYOND MY COMPREHENSION! So, go out today wrapped in His glorious love, powerfully infused with the Holy Spirit, joyously glorifying him in all you do! It’s a great day no matter what kind of day it is.
