Choices matter John 11:25-26 Revelation 22:20

John 11:25-26 (NIV)
25. Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26. and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

Revelation 22:20 (NIV)
20. He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

Come, Lord Jesus. Lord Jesus. We’re not talking Ricky Bobby baby Jesus here, we’re talking about the Lord that’s going to put things back in order His way. We’re talking about the Lord – the Creator, the One who made it all in the first place – that Lord coming back. I agree, come back soon and set this place right.

When it happens though, watch out world! Yes, there will be love, peace, joy, and beauty unimagined – for those that are left. The saddest part is those that won’t be. Our humanism seems to be sending us down faster and faster, allowing evil to propagate in the name of political correctness and relative morality. It won’t last forever though, it will be corrected.

Matthew 13:41-42 (ESV)
41 The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers, 42 and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

I write this stuff because it matters and I hope that it might impact someone, might jar some curiosity, some research, and because we’re called to.

Ephesians 4:25 (NIV)
25. Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body.

Matthew 23:12 (NIV)
12. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.

At the end of the day, we do have the final say about where we spend eternity. Yes, the choices we make today do matter.
