How to Defeat Your Enemy Proverbs 25:21-22

Proverbs 25:21-22 (NIV)
21. If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat, and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink, 22. for you will heap burning coals on his head, and the LORD will reward you.

I’m shaking my head wondering if there’s anyone out there listening to the wisdom of God. We all need to intently consider the words of God. His words sure aren’t of this world, certainly not of this day. We are at the opposite end of the spectrum no matter where you look.

How did we get here? Think about it. It’s not the first time, won’t be the last time. When we stop listening to God we end up here. This is not a mystery, it’s history.

How do we get back?

John 14:26 (ESV)
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

And what does that produce?

Philippians 2:2 (NLT)
2 Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose.

What kind of world do you want and how do you plan on getting it? How will you defeat those who are in opposition?

PS No, I don’t think Daesh and their like can be beaten with flowers. They can be defeated with God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit though.
