Matthew 20:18-19 (NLT)
18 “Listen,” he said, “we’re going up to Jerusalem, where the Son of Man will be betrayed to the leading priests and the teachers of religious law. They will sentence him to die. 19 Then they will hand him over to the Romans to be mocked, flogged with a whip, and crucified. But on the third day he will be raised from the dead.
So it’s done. Over. Easter is passed and the resurrection is complete. So what?
Matthew 10:18-20 (NLT)
18 You will stand trial before governors and kings because you are my followers. But this will be your opportunity to tell the rulers and other unbelievers about me.[or But this will be your testimony against the rulers and other unbelievers.] 19 When you are arrested, don’t worry about how to respond or what to say. God will give you the right words at the right time. 20 For it is not you who will be speaking—it will be the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.
.
When they arrest you? Arrest me? Why? That’s a good question. Will your faith be one to be arrested for? Will anyone know?
Ezekiel 36:27 (NLT)
27 And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations.
If you opt in.
Acts 9:17-18 (NLT)
17 So Ananias went and found Saul. He laid his hands on him and said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road, has sent me so that you might regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” 18 Instantly something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and he regained his sight. Then he got up and was baptized.
Something like scales fell from his eyes. I wonder what I have left on my eyes?
1 John 2:2 (NLT)
2 He himself is the sacrifice that atones for our sins—and not only our sins but the sins of all the world.
That’s a big deal. It’s over, the new world order began and it is the one God started, not man. The world orders battle. We’re called to participate at all costs. Does the world know who you are?
