Proverbs 12:25 (NLT)
25 Worry weighs a person down; an encouraging word cheers a person up.

Nine guys in a room. Talking about what it’s really like out there. “When everyone around you says it’s OK, when your culture says it’s OK, eventually you say it’s OK even when you know it’s not. When you sisters ask you ‘what are you doing, your mother didn’t raise no fools’, and your kids ask ‘Daddy, you’re going back to jail again??’. There’s only one way to get self esteem and it’s not from the culture”.

You can cut through all the bs and just say that our culture is broken and what’s acceptable isn’t acceptable when put under the hard light of truth. When all the reasons are stripped away, what’s left is that it’s broken.

Dwight has been through the system a few many times and understands. There’s only one way to healed. I wish you all could talk to him for a while.
